India is thriving, one proof is women working in leading positions in every field and profession. Anjali Sharma is one such a women. She is a commercial photographer. She works with advertising agencies and firms to create commercial photographs. Anjali is also experienced in fashion and glamour photography. Glamour photography is popular in advertising and in men’s magazines.

She started her career as an amateur photographer. She practiced photography as a hobby and not for profit. The quality of some of her amateur work is comparable or superior to that of many professionals and may be highly specialised or eclectic in its choice of subjects. Amateur photography is often pre-eminent in photographic subjects which have little prospect of commercial use or reward. So Anjali got an opportunity and moved into commercial photography world.

She is an expert in portrait photography. Unlike many other photographers, her subjects of portrait photography are often non-professional models. Family portraits commemorating special occasions, such as graduations or weddings, may be professionally produced or may be vernacular and are most often intended for private viewing rather than for public exhibition.

However Anjali Sharma created many portraits for public display ranging from fine art portraiture, to commercial portraiture such as might be used to illustrate a company’s annual report, to promotional portraiture such a might be found on a book jacket showing the author of the book.
