Italy has beautiful destination ports, the charming characteristics, festivals, history, cuisine and culture. You will really see why the region is ideal for chartering. Nestled in the North of Italy, near Genoa, the sharp Ligurian coastline rises to hillsides and in the distance, mountains. To the South West, further along the coast, lies Monaco and the French Riviera. The distinction between the two Rivieras is that the Ligurian has not lost its heritage and character. It is less developed, but oozes Italian charisma instead.
The Liguria coastline has been ruled by many cultures through the ages. The significance of Genoa as a trading port is testament to this. In order to develop trade routes Genoa became a busy commercial hub, ruled by the Normans, Romans, Barbarians and more recently Napoleon.

She writes that the Caribbean is basically an area comprising the Caribbean Sea, its accompanying islands and the surrounding coastal areas. Located in the east of Central America, this region encompasses more than seven thousand islands, islets, cays and reefs. The Caribbean provides all these features and many more to its tourists, which is why Caribbean holidays have become very popular over the past few years. In fact, Caribbean islands are on the top most visited places list for many traveling and tourism agencies. Anguilla, Aruba, Bahamas, Jamaica, Haiti, Barbados, Virgin Islands, and St Martin are among the most commonly visited islands in the Caribbean.
Accommodation options in the area are also simply exquisite. There is something for every type of customer. Greece is a wonderful place Disha told us. I enjoyed the best ever holidays in Greece. The most memorable part of this holiday was chartering a luxury yacht and visiting several Greece islands. They stayed on this yacht for a few days. The Ionian Sea lies to the west of the mainland of Greece, it combines both good sailing weather, sunny and warm with predictable winds with a fascinating group of islands. Navigation is generally by line of sight and a passage between islands is generally only a few hours in duration The islands are attractive and steeped in Greek mythology. This is a great place for people learning to sail or building experience and so it is no surprise that it is home to several companies running flotilla sailing holidays. Islands that can be visited include; Corfu, Paxos, Levkas, Meganisi, Ithaca, Cephalonia and Zakinthos. More information about yacht charter in the Ionian Sea can be found here.
The Saronic Gulf lies to the south of Athens, the capital of Greece. As a practical sailing area it includes the Athens or Attica coast on the mainland, the eastern coast of the Peloponnisos including the Gulfs of Idhras and Argolikos. Some of the better known Islands include Aigina, Poros, Idhra or Hydra and Spetsai.
