She might be used to scoring on the tennis court, but India’s tennis sensation Sania Mirza is all set to win the match of her life. This one, of course, involves a love different from the points.
The famous Mirza girl from Hyderabad is reportedly all set to become a pretty bride pretty soon. But she will remain a Hyderabadi and a Mirza as well. That’s because Sania is reportedly getting engaged as early as in July to Muhammad Sohrab Mirza, a 23-year-old B.com graduate from Hyderabad.
Sohrab and Sania have known each other for a few years. Their families have been friends. Sohrab is planning to go to the UK to pursue an MBA degree.
Sania herself is away in Paris playing in the French Open, and it was her father Imran Mirza who confirmed the reports of her engagement.
“This is to confirm that Sania Mirza is engaged to Mr. Muhammad Sohrab Mirza, whose family hails from the city of Hyderabad. Although not related, the two families have had friendly ties for several decades. However, the wedding is not expected to take place for a while,” Imran Mirza said.
But will this mean the end of Sania’s career, the Hyderabadi hurricane?
Maaha Khan is back to Chicago for holidays. She is enjoying the summer here in Chicago and have plans to visit beaches of Florida and Bahamas (The Bahamas, officially the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, is an independent, English-speaking country consisting of 2,387 rocks, 661 cays and 29 islands. It is located in the Atlantic Ocean southeast of the United States of America; northeast to east of Cuba, Hispaniola (Dominican Republic & Haiti) and north to east of the Caribbean Sea; and west to northwest of the Turks and Caicos Islands).
Maaha is going with her family on this holiday trip. They have planned to have some yachting fun. Yachting or recreational sailing is the specific act of sailing as a sport. These days, yacht racing and dinghy racing are common participant sports around the developed world, particularly where favourable wind conditions and access to reasonably sized bodies of water are available.
Well Maaha, we are missing you here in back Islamabad and want to see you back with some more photos and fun. Thanks for sharing.

Last week Saba Hameed made a contribution from Vienna, Austria. Today Sumaira have made a contribution from Vienna. With these contributions I’m becoming fan of Vienna, so lovely and loving people live in this city.
Sumaira is working in University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, Vienna as a registrar. A hardworking ex pat, who is trying to establish herself.
She lives near famous Hofburg. The Hofburg is the location of the Schatzkammer (treasury), holding the imperial jewels of the Habsburg dynasty. The Sisi Museum (a museum devoted to Empress Elisabeth Amalie Eugenie of Austria) allows visitors to view the Imperial apartments as well as the silver cabinet. Directly opposite the Hofburg are the Kunsthistorisches Museum and the Naturhistorisches Museum, which houses many paintings by old masters, ancient and classical artifacts.
So Sumaira has great interest in museums and arts. She visits museums that are located in the Museumsquartier (museum quarter), the former Imperial Stalls which were converted into a museum complex in the 1990s. It houses the Museum of Modern Art,commonly known as the MUMOK (Ludwig Foundation), the Leopold Museum (focusing on works of the Viennese Secession, Viennese Modernism and Austrian Expressionism), additional halls with feature exhibitions and the Tanzquartier.
Aanchal, Saadhna and Renuka are NRIs living in Milan, ocated in the plains of Lombardy. They are true party girls. In this photo they are visiting a local Desi bar and drinking with their friends.
They are true self promoters and want to promote themselves. Saadhna and Renuka are working in a design company in Milan, Italy. The city proper (Comune di Milano) is renowned as one of the world capitals of design and fashion. The English word millinery, referring to women’s hats, is derived from the name of the city. The Lombard metropolis is famous for its fashion houses and shops (such as along via Montenapoleone) and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele in the Piazza Duomo (reputed to be the world’s oldest shopping mall).
Aanchal is an Urban designer and working in a building design company. Milan is undergoing an urban re-design. Construction projects are under way to rehabilitate disused industrial areas on the periphery. The schemes include the addition to the Teatro alla Scala; the CityLife project in the old “fiera” site; the new quarter Santa Giulia; and the Porta Nuova project in the Garibaldi-Repubblica zone. Many famous architects participate, such as Renzo Piano, Norman Foster, Zaha Hadid, Massimiliano and Daniel Libeskind. The tasks will change the skyline of Milan, which would no longer be dominated by the Duomo and the Pirelli Tower.
FYI Lombardy is bordered by Switzerland (north) and by the Italian regions of Emilia-Romagna (south), Trentino-Alto Adige and Veneto (east), and Piedmont (west). Three distinct natural zones can be fairly easily distinguished in the Lombardy region: mountains, hills and plains. The first one is an Alpine zone including the Lepontine and Rhaetian Alps, (Piz Bernina, 4 055 m.), the Bergamo Alps, the Ortles and Adamello massifs; it is followed by an Alpine foothills zone, of which the main peaks are the Grigna Group (2,410 m.), Resegone (1,875 m.) and Presolana (2,521 m.). The great Lombard lakes, all of glacial origin, lie in this zone.

Life for Sana means fun! Lots and lots of fun. As earlier mentioned Sana is enjoying the bounties of fun and joy in U.K. These are some of her everyday life photos. Taken on her birthday party. On her birthday she visited few relatives, friends and colleagues. She passed that evening with Ramiz, her boyfriend. Both went to famous Royal Opera House in London.
They enjoyed ‘whatever happens’ show by Ariadne auf Naxos. A new opera and a harlequinade together into one single work. Strauss’s music takes full advantage of the dramatic potential: the intense lyricism of the Composer, the richly scored encounter of Ariadne and Bacchus, the virtuosic coloratura of flirty but fickle Zerbinetta. Such a musical tour de force needs a world-class cast as here ” led by Deborah Voigt, a leading exponent of her role, and joined by young British singer Gillian Keith, winner of the Ferrier Competition, in a major debut. Christof Loy’s popular production for The Royal Opera combines witty detail with a richly eclectic design of the classic and contemporary, the grand and the down-to-earth. With Mark Elder conducting, everything about this revival makes for an irresistible combination of the fine and the fun.
… But Sana got broke with Ramiz and now she is alone. Would you like to ber her friend?
